ADJUSTING THE GUITAR POSITION

The guitar can be worn on from (playing position) or on your back (carrying position) Both positions are ajustable. It also has some features built into it for future HUD compatibility. For these reasons, adjusting the positions is a *teeny* but different than adjusting a normal attachment.

  1. Wear the guitar. It will move to the front in the "playing" posiiton
  2. Adjust the position normally. Right click the guitar and move it around as you would any other attachment
  3. TEACH the front postion. Click GUITAR UTIL on the HUD. (or touch the guitar) Click the TEACHFRONT button. This locks in the front position.

If you get things out of whack type /43 defaultpos in chat, the guitar will be reset to a default attach position. You may have to detach and re-attach for this to take effect.

Once you have the front and back postions of a guitar taught the HUD STANDARD will learn those positions and teach them to any v4.0 or later guitar.

  1. Wear the guitar that has been taught front and back.
  2. Click the LearnPos button on the HUD. The HUD will "learn" the position of the guitar front and back
  3. Wear another v4.0 or later guitar that needs the same position.
