A word about communicating with the off-world system.... Second Life "throttles" communication with off-world processes. Communication efficiency may also be affected by lag, etc. You can govern the "frequency" of the messaging by setting the DESCRIPTION of an invenyory box. Right click and EDIT the box. In the Description field (Not name field) enter a number of seconds. The higher the number the less often the box will send messages (and the longer it will take to list its items). Communication is regulated at 1.1 seconds on the low end no matter what value you put in the descriptor. Please note that the box is only initiating communication messages when it is green and re-listing its contents.
