Stage
Lighting System - Assistant HUD
[Main]
As of version 1.3 the Stage HUD is Copy and Trans. Does this mean you can have unlimited assistants? No it does not. Read On....
Setup your stage, program your HUD, get
it all just right, including setting password and operating channel,
then give a copy of you HUD to your assistant. They will be able
to run your lights.
For many reasons, which I won't bore you with at this point, these are the "assistant" rules.
- Anyone who has purchased Lights, Pyros, Lasers can give away the HUD to (2) number of assistants. Obviously the HUD can be given to as many people as you like because it is Trans; but the first (2) people to rez it or wear it will be registered as your "assisstants".
- Assistants will have the type of control that the primary owner has. (Lights / Lasers / Pyros)
- You can see a list of your assistants by
clicking the yellow [?} button on the HUD, choose UTIL then
INFO. You will see a web page link in main
chat. Click that link.
Assistant HUDs - Before Lights version 1.3
This method works on older verions of the Stage Contro HUD. It is complicated and a pain. That's why it dissapeared.
Many times performances in SL require that you use an
"assistant" to run the light/pyros/laser show. For various
reasons, the light HUD is no copy. You can , however, acquire an
"assistant" HUD so someone else can run your light shows. If you
need an assistant HUD, contact Ortho Vargas directly.
