How To Buy @ OD

There are several ways to buy what you want from OD Designs,
  1. Buy directly.
  2. Use OD Rewards Points
  3. Use OD Gift Cards.
  4. Buy through the new Browse OD feature.
  5. Buy for a Friend.

1. Buy direct method:

Step A: Select the item you wish to buy by left clicking it.

Step B: Buy directly, right click the item and pay that way. Get OD Points!

Step C: Complete the transaction, be sure to accept everything that appears.

2. Buy with OD Reward points:

Step A: Select the item you wish to buy by left clicking it

Step B: A blue box notice will appear giving the option to use your points.

Step C: Complete the transaction, be sure to accept everything that arrives.

More on rewards points

(If you don't have enough points a big green BUY POINTS beacon will appear in front of you. Right click it and select PAY. The default value in the pay box is the amount you need to pay the beacon to have enough points to buy the item. Pay it. The beacon dissappears. Now you will have enough points to get the item. )

3. Buy with OD Gift Card:

Step A: Be sure you are wearing the OD Gift card, it will whisper to you how many points you have when first worn.

Step B: Select the item you wish to buy by left clicking it

Step C: A blue box notice will appear giving the option to use your Gift Card.

Step D: Complete the transaction, be sure to accept everything that is given.



Refill the Gift Card:
  1. Stand next to the sign, located here http://slurl.com/secondlife/OD%20Designs/68/82/21
  2. Be sure to wear your card.
  3. And pay the sign.

4. Buy through the new Browse OD feature:

Step A: Click this link Browse OD

Step B: Select the item you wish to buy by left clicking it

Step C: This will direct you to the exact location of the item you have selected, then use one of the above mentioned methods. Complete the transaction.

Step D: Complete the transaction, be sure to accept everything that is delivered.

5. Buying for a Friend:

Step A: Select the item you wish to buy by left clicking it

Step B: This will bring up a blue menu box, select Buy for Friend.

Step C: Type in the person's name into chat.

Step D: The poster will look for your friend then ask you to Pay Now.

Step E: Pay the poster.

( For very new avatars the key may not be found. in such case IM Ortho Vargas. )

Buying for yourself:



This diagram shows how most transactions at OD Designs are made. A simple buy directly to yourself. And get points in return as well as your purchase!

Buying for a Friend:



If you were wanting to buy for a friend, or band member, this is the diagram for you.
You would purchase the item for a friend, you would get the OD Points and they would get the item.

Buying with OD Reward Points:



Now we offer the option of buying any new instrument/equipment with OD Points! You should be wearing your gift card when purchasing with this method.

Using gift cards:



You've won or been given a OD gift card, this is the method that you would use.
