I Can't See My HUD When I Wear It

Sometimes the position of the HUD on your screen is .. well.. off of the screen.  This is how you get it back.

  1. Wear some other HUD (anything at all) that you CAN see.  Let's call this one the visible HUD.
  2. Wear the HUD that is lost (off the screen) and the visible one.
  3. Right click the visible HUD and EDIT.
  4. Hover your cursor over the visible HUD.
  5. Hold down the ALT key
  6. Press and hold the LEFT mouse key on your visible HUD.
  7. While holding ALT and LEFT mouse button down... drag the mouse cursor DOWN (towards you).  This will zoom out the visible display.  When you see the lost HUD stop moving the mouse.  Release mouse button and the ALT key.
  8. LEFT click on the lost HUD.  You will see the positioning arrows appear.    Grab it and reposition it toward the center of the screen.
  9. Close the Edit window.

I Can't Delete My Guitar - It Keeps Coming Back!

The Floor Display version of your guitar is a 1-prim transparent disk that rezzes your guitar as a temp object. The prims in the guitar do not count against your prim count on the land. Temp objects do not hang around forever. Eventually the sim will remove them. This varies according to a few variables. The transparent disk periodically deletes and re-rezzes the guitar in an effort to try to keep it displayed. This happens on a time interval. You can change the time interval by editing the description of the disk. Example: Description: 60 re-rezzes the guitar every 60 seconds.

/21 show make the disk visible so you can see it and adjust its position. This is how you control where the guitar appears.
/21 hide make the disk invisible again. The disk goes invisible automatically when the guitar is re-rezzed
/21 rez rez the guitar right now
/21 help get this info in a notecard.
