(How to blow up just about anything)
Up front Caveats:
You will have a folder named something like OD>> Explode API. Inside are the following things:
| Explode Object. Goes In Object Root (script) | This is the main "explode script" put it in the root prim of the object you want to explode. IMPORTANT: The object has to be 32 prims or less. |
| Smoke (texture) Explode - Smoke (script) |
Part of the explode sequence are prims that spew smoke. If you want the smoke effect put both of these items into one (or more) of the child prims in your object. Do not put these into the root prim of the object. Do not put smoke into the same prim that is doing flames or sparks. |
| Flames (texture) Explode - Flames (script) |
Part of the explode sequence are prims that spew fire. If you want the fire effect put both of these items into one (or more) of the child prims in your object. Do not put these into the root prim of the object. Do not put flames into the same prim that is doing smoke or sparks. |
| Explode - Sparks (script) | Part of the explode sequence are prims that spew sparks. If you want the sparks effect put this script into one (or more) of the child prims in your object. Do not put this script into the root prim of the object. Do not put sparks into the same prim that is doing smoke or flames. |
| Explode Trigger | This is a 1 prim object that triggers the explosion. It can be rezzed or worn. More about that later. |
| OD>> Rezzbox 1.1 | This is a rezzer system that has the explode functionality
built-in. This is a fully functional rezzing system where you
can store your entire stage setup, house, etc, etc. Similar to Rez-Faux
or so many other rezzing systems.
For detailed instruction on how to setup scenes with the OD>> Rezzbox Read Here |
Now that your item is created you can make as many copies as you like, drag copies, etc.
There are a couple of different ways to trigger the explosion depending on how your scene has been rezzed into existence.
